Doctor Peter Gerbino contacted me to recreate his entire website and allow him to have his own digital resumé outside of social media. Originally his web presence was part of Monterey Joints and Sports (now defunct). This website was outdated and needed updating. His idea was to create a basic patient portal that would allow new and existing patients to request appointments, view details about his practice, and review his extensive CV. Beyond basic site maintenance payments, Dr. Gerbino wanted to avoid having to deal with various services with ongoing subscriptions such as WordPress and other similar products. I built the website from scratch using free content management tools to accommodate this.

• Timeline of the project spanned over 4 months.

• Held bi-weekly meetings with Dr. Gerbino for status updates.

• Website customizations:

  • Built a framework and theme from the ground up.

  • Incorporated GoDaddy Office365 tools for email account setup.

  • HTML/CSS version of extensive CV/Resumé.

  • Joomla app installs for various accounts/permissions to allow content creators/contributors.

New version of the site launched 07/2022.
